Office of Science and Technology at the Royal Thai Embassy, Washington DC is the representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand(MOST) since October 1989. It is appointed as the coordinator and center for the exchange of science and technology related information among professionals, research institutes, academia, and interested parties from the USA, Canada and Thailand.

:: Responsibilities ::
  • To establish a liaison and promote cooperation among scientific professionals, research institutes, and related organizations in USA, Canada and Thailand.
  • To promote the advancement of scientific knowledge, technology and education in Thailand by encouraging scientific and technological professionals in USA and Canada to participate in research programs.
  • To study, analyze and provide the status and policies of USA and Canada Governments in science and technology which would impact the development of Thailand.
  • To collect and provide the significant data and expert advice in science and technology development to any interested organizations in order to help increase productivity and efficiency.
  • To serve as an advisory in technology transfer issues to public concerned
  • To perform other activities, which are prescribed by law or are designated by the Ministry or the Cabinet.
