To strengthen collaboration between North America and Thailand, OSTC has participted in many organizations as follow:
 
The Association of Thai Professionals in America and Canada (ATPAC)ATPAC

The Association of Thai Professionals in America and Canada (ATPAC) is a group of Thai professionals which include the younger generation or ATPAC's youths (ATPACY) in North America.

ATPAC was founded in 1991 and registered as a non-profit organization in Texas in 1992. A major goal of this organization is to promote the advancement of scientific knowledge, technology and education in Thailand.

Missions :
  • To promote the advancement of scientific knowledge, technology and education in Thailand.
  • To establish a liaison and promote cooperation between ATPAC and related organizations in Thailand the United States, Canada and other countries.
  • To maintain a close association and fraternity among members.
The Reverse Brain Drain Projects (RBD)RBD

RBD is established within National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in January 1997 for using "brain" and "connections" of Thai Professionals Living Overseas to help in the Development of Thailand, particularly in science and technology.

Missions :
  • Identify and attract experienced high-level Thai professional living overseas to participate in mission-oriented projects, and promote development of core teams led by the respective Thai professionals.
  • Promote and facilitate the return of Thai professionals overseas to work in government agencies or in the private sector.
Commission on Higher Education (CHE)CHE

Commission on Higher Education is responsible for Thailand’s higher education at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Missions :
  • Formulate policy recommendations, higher education standards,higher education development planning and carrying out internationalcooperation on higher education.
  • Devise criteria and guidelines for resources allocation,establishment of higher education institutions and community colleges andproviding financial support.
  • Coordinate and promote human resources development, toimprove student capacity including handicapped, disadvantaged and giftedand talented students in higher education institutions and to coordinate andpromote research activities that generate new body of knowledge for thesupport of the national development.
  • Provide recommendation on the establishment, dissolve,amalgamation, upgrading and closing down of higher education institutionand community college.
  • Implement higher education monitoring, inspection, andevaluation as instructed by the CHE and to compile data and information onhigher education.
  • Serve as the Secretariat to the Commission on Higher Education.
  • Perform other functions prescribed by law as authorities and responsibilities of the Commission on Higher Education, and to carry out assignment instructed by the Minister of Education or the Council of Ministers.
