WTTC 2007 (Workshop on Trend, Technologies and Collaborative Opportunities in High Performance Computing and Grid Computing 2007)

WTTC 2007 (Workshop on Trend, Technologies and Collaborative Opportunities in High Performance Computing and Grid Computing 2007) sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and co-host by Thai National Grid Center, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, was presented by Thai and foreign Researchers in order to transfer and exchange knowledge about Grid Technology.

High Performance and Grid computing are essential technologies for enabling breakthrough science and for advancing economic and business developments, especially in today’s digital world. Time to market, time to insight, and time to discovery are prime objectives of HPC and grid applications. Examples of such applications are high-energy physic, computational fluid dynamic, bioinformatics, search engine, telecommunication services, military and space applications, drug discovery as well as perhaps critical warning systems (e.g. for tsunami or hurricane).
